Helping disabled students to succeed in learning, finding a way for them to do the learning activities, and improve their accessibility of educational resources is a challenge to any educational institution especially in Somalia. Without proper assistance, these groups of students do face a huge challenge in knowledge acquisition as compared to abled students; they have difficulties in understanding lectures, performing well in exams as well as assignments and require special teaching and learning methods for them. This study proposes an implementation of assistive technology tailored especially for educational institutions in Somalia that consists of the several components required to create a proper communication environment needed for deaf, blind, and dysgraphia students. This will hopefully provide the educational institutions with a proper mechanism of teaching and learning for their disabled students who are blind, hearing-impaired, or suffer from dysgraphia problems.
