Abstract

This article conducts a comprehensive analysis of existing literature to investigate the impact of transformational leadership on the performance of supply chain management
between the years 2000 and 2024. By using data collected from Scopus as well as using the PRISMA-(Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) methodology, we initially discovered a total of 1,299 papers. After the implementation of exclusion criteria, a total of 11 articles were chosen for a comprehensive review in order
to evaluate the influence of transformational leadership on the efficiency, responsiveness, and effectiveness of the supply chain. Our research indicates that transformational leadership drives innovation, improves supplier integration, and fosters sustainable practices, all of which contribute to a considerable improvement in supply chain performance. The research sheds light on the significant part that transformational leadership plays in generating superior results in supply chain management. We suggest that, in future research, additional variables and a variety of scenarios be investigated in order to more thoroughly comprehend the connection between these two factors. The supply chain managers and organizational leaders looking to maximize performance by implementing effective leadership methods will benefit greatly from the direction provided by these insights.
